Welcome to findmall, I to like unusual rocks. Not much help on the ID but the fact they are magnetic is very peculiar to a meteorite, which could be valuable.

Five Dollar Token, Silver Quarters, Dimes, Jewelry and others

Good to see you out of hibernation. LOL It will surprise you how deep the Manticore does goes but it has some quirks on super deep targets, you will figure it out. Congratulations on the TR coin bucket listers are a thrill to check off!

    M9 depth and separation abilities.

The 9 is my go-to in iron infested sites, going back over hunted out sites and pulling some nice keepers.

    Manticore depth question

Clay seems to be the limiting factor for depth, it always catches coins etc... We rarely have more than 12 to 18 inches of topsoil here so separation in iron becomes a major consideration. On inland beaches I have dug coins (dimes, pennies) and rings at 20 + inches where the coins are caught in...

    MANTICORE M8 VS M9

    Manticore adds some More !

They planted it to a pollinator CRP instead of crops:mad: its over for my lifetime. Probably was my best site for Barber coins and a few gold pieces. I have seen the actual flyer for the show the bearded man in a leopard skin Tites in a life a death struggle with a live bear {all a show}. The...

    Manticore adds some More !

Interesting how there are hotspots like that out there, congrats! I have a similar story at a local racetrack/picnic turns out they had a man wrestling a bear in a boxing ring spectacle every year, long story short I know here that spot is LOL.

Equinox 800 coil on a Manticore?

I haven't tried it personally but have been told it won't work.
  19. laplander

Minelab, are you listening? How about a 6" for the Manticore?

Agreed, their supposed big coil is just an elliptical with no depth advantage!
