    Today with the F75

For some reason when the F75 is in any other setting than one tone anything past a discrimination setting of six automatically shifts to a setting of fifteen.Personally,I ground grab, sensitivity @ 88,one tone, disc @ 5,Tornado coil.Maybe it’s the hot soil but I use what we call the “Sovereign “...

Anyone here have experience in comparison with Fisher F75?

A properly set up F-75 is hard to beat.I have two .54 Minnie’s and a clad quarter buried @ 8 inches and my F75 with a Tornado coil is the only detector that I’ve been able to get diggable responses from.AT Max,MultiKruzer,Nox 600,and a couple of others give little to no response.

    Relics and F75

Google Dankowski/F-75.I run one tone @ 6 disc 88 sensitivity and can’t tell much difference between that and all metal other than less noise. In all other modes the disc automatically starts at 15.

It's refreshing to see more well rounded reviews.

I’m waiting for Joe Namath or JJ to endorse this revolutionary detector. In all seriousness for my type of hunting if I was going to spend that much money I would spring for a GPX..But then again, this is a hobby and you can invest what makes you happy.I still remember when a lot of newbies...

    My thoughts on Detectors lately

Y’all can do all of the comparisons, masking demonstrations and show how machine X is better than machine Y but what it all comes down to is simply”If it ain’t there you aren’t gonna find it”.

    Brief rant

I think a lot of newbies are shocked when they learn how physically exhausting this hobby can be.After a few fruitless outings many newly purchased detectors end up stuck in a closet…

    Deus ll question ?

I don’t know if the Deus II is some kind of super detector or not but when there’s only one cheerleader it kind of reminds me of the traveling medicine shows of days gone by selling miracle cures..Saying everything else is crap only adds to my skepticism.

    Which pin pointer

Several provide the ability to detune by turning the pointer off and then back on while holding it close to the target,I know that the original propointer & II do…

    Which pin pointer

I don’t care for pinpointers that have to be programmed with the on/off button.I want to push for on,push again for off.

    Fisher F70 & F75 Coils(4) + One Tesoro Epsilon

    I’m down to the Cors 3 1/2 x 6 1/2 and the 5” Fisher concentric if anyone is interested…Thanks!

    Which pin pointer

I have two Garrett Propointer II’s, both of which are getting some age on them.I’ve tried several others, including the Carrot,F-Pulse,the newer White’s,and one of the cheaper Minelabs. I’m more for sending my Propointer II’s in for an overhaul than trying to adjust to any of the others,several...

Finally had to retire the original Grey Ghost head fones.....

It’s been a few years. My pair still work pretty good, but when they go I still have a pair of White’s Prostars which I think are made by Detector Pro…

Finally had to retire the original Grey Ghost head fones.....

I’ve got a pair of deepwoods that have had a rough life. They’ve been returned twice with quick no charge repairs for broken earmuff holders, probably from my”bull in a China shop” handling.I think they’re fifteen years old and still get used regularly.Good Product, better service!

    Fisher F70 & F75 Coils(4) + One Tesoro Epsilon

Let me physically put my hands on the coil.So far I’ve located a 5” Fisher concentric,a stock Fisher F75 coil,a 7” Mars,a 6x10 Mars dd,and the Cors 3 1/2x6 1/2. I’ll take a closer look in the morning.PayPal goods and services works for payment.

Anyone run larger than 11-12” coils?

I keep a “Tornado” on my F75 and have never had a problem pinpointing and separating targets. It may be slightly heavier but not to the point of being tiring.I hunt in one tone, discrimination @ 3,sensitivity 90+,de mode and dig anything above 10 vdi….Sometimes I have to coax the signal, but if I...
