    Lost Ring ....

I am reposting this here hoping that someone might help this fella recover his lost ring. I am newlywed husband that lost my wedding band on the 4th of July on Navarre Beach, Florida. I lost it in the water and I have already paid someone $200 to use his submersible metal detector to try...

Got a New never used Vision today

Elton ... seriously ... It is only as complicated as you want to make it. You have one of the most advanced detectors made today and it can be configured to find just about anything metallic. Learn how to select the preset modes for the type of hunting you want to do and how to adjust the...

Got a New never used Vision today

No ... they are very bad units. They need to be open up and all the adjustments turned fully clockwise. It will constantly need upgrades for it to work. You should send me that one and save yourself some aggravation. Willee

I have a like new Fisher F5 with the stock 5.5 x 10 elliptical coil. Also have the optional 7.25 x 11.5 double d coil. This detector was used twice at the beach for a total of 4 hours running time and I doubt there is a scratch on it anywhere. Original box, manual, and paperwork and would cost...

Testing the HeadHunter Wader and Pirate Pro.

My new Pirate Pro was delivered today so off to the beach with it for a quick run about. My first impression was that the Pirate Pro was detecting a bit deeper than the Wader. Least that is what I thought. Didnt do any heads up comparisons at the beach. When I got back home I buried a dime...

Beach Hunter ID coil mod ...

I have a White's Beach Hunter ID and realy like the way it works at the beach in the dry and wet sand. However, the original coil is just too buoyant for water hunting and I did not want to add extra weight. After about an hour my wrist and arm would start aching from keeping enough pressure...

    Supertune the Quatro ...

A fella at the club meeting last night told me there was a resistor on the Quattro circuit board that is there to detune the performance of that detector so it would not perform as well as the Explorer XS or Explorer II. He said by changing it to another value the Quattro has just as much...

Well perhaps not a lot ... but I have seen a few pop up for sale or trade recently. A lot of like new X-Terras also. I bought an F5 as I always liked fisher detectors and wanted to try their new offerings. It isnt a CZ-70 ... but it aint bad either ... light weight ... easy to use ... good...

    Salt Beach Program is Flawed

The V3 is a great machine and if you can only have one detector it is a very good choice. However, it is a bit of overkill to use on the beach hunting recently lost items. A cheaper detector like the Bounty Hunter Pioneer 505 will do just as good as the V3 finding clad coins and jewelry in dry...

What coils can be used on the Quatro ... I just traded for one and want to use a large coil for beach hunting. Not for depth but for more coverage per swing. I see in another post that the Safari seems to be a continuation of the Quatro ... will its coils work? Well ... I think I just answered...
