    the details are starting to emerge....but the date is unreadable as of yet. I pounded the same area where I found this one.... tonight....but due to the moisture....the high power lines gave me a lot of falsing and I didnt find much other than pieces of brass/copper shards...pots....whatever...

    on the front side i can see the distinctive head and shoulder bust......so far I cant see anything on the back. I will take it to work in the morning and see if I can decipher anything using a high powered microscope....3 or 4 days in olive oil with mild cleaning should show me all of the...

    It doesn't even have a hint of a gold tint to it...i didnt even clean it when i pulled it out of the ground....it came out just like you see it....I am wondering if this may be a modern button for a military uniform? anybody know anybody in the military that would have had a button like this on...

    Anyone try the Whites super 12 coil

    I have the 10x12 SEF coil, that I use the 12 inch super program for on the V3i. So far it is working very well for me....it's a deep booger....but no fun in trash.

    Holy Frijoles! bad ground

    I lose about 50 to 60% depth with the 4x6 shooter double D on the same coin in my test bed. It does work very well however when you are pulling targets from 7 inches and less in trashy or multiple target areas, like I was this morning. i wonder if he is talking about the 6x10?
