DrBobinMO & I made another raid into KS yesterday and made off with the loot once again :twodetecting:

It was bone dry at the two public town squares but we carried on with bruised and blistered digging hands .DrBob was putting a serious whipping on me until the near mint Walker sounded off.I called Bob over to test the signal and he said it had to be silver but neither of us dreamed it would be...

Hunted a hammered small town park and was pleased to say the least. Ultra dry here and the grass is dead so no worries except for extreme hard digging.Once again I am pleased with the E-Tracs unmasking of goodies in heavy iron in these very dry conditions.I and both DrBob and Labradorbob have...

Has anyone else tried the new Nel Tornado coil......

Got one several days ago but only tested it a little bit because of lack of time with my fathers declining health. I must say it impressed me a lot on my 9" planted silver dime but will soon give it a run in the real world and see what develops:twodetecting:.

Last two hunts produce 2 fat Barbers, honking ring and a tiny old lady

Got out Sat. afternoon and found the Barbers and 925 ring at a small hammered public site.It was quite dry and nothing over 6" deep but all in heavy nails. All found with the 8x6 SEF coil going very slow and digging iffy signal that mostly only hit one way because of the nails.
