Are the stock programs good enough?

I have been considering a V3i, but have been a little intimidated. I have a MXT now and enjoy the simplicity. Do you really have to start digging right in? Are the stock programs good enough with depth or am I wasting my money? Thanks

    F75 SE questions

I took a new SE out to a park and in the factory set it ran quiet. I bumped the discrimination to 25 and it started to be more irratic. That was the only thing I changed, why would it go nutty? I would think it would have been quieter???

    Learning to read beach

I am new to salt beach hunting and have only done it a hand full of times only finding a couple coins at best. I just went to a beach in Me and noticed it to be all smooth with out cuts, very slight ripples if any, etc. Is this what is refered to as sanded in? I hunted for an hour and a half...

Is the AT Pro an upgrade?

I currently use a MXT on land. Without starting a brand war, I would like to hear thoughts from people that have experience using the MXT and AT Pro. I currently have an older MXT and like the features of the Pro. Just not sure if it will be any better other than the fact that the pro is...

    AT Pro and Wet salt

I checked out a Pro today and was quite impressed. However, I worry how it would do on the wet salt ocean beaches having only one frequency? Any experience? Thanks!

    Cape Cod beach detectorists

I have detected the Cape very little, however, I do know you have to be carefull which beach you detect on as there are a lot of them off limits to metal detecting, for example, Federal. Seems a lot of the beaches where the ship wrecks happened are off limits. But, there are areas to detect and...

    Manual sensitivity???

Does anyone use the manual ground instead of the auto? I usually bringit up to where it starts to be a little unstable and leave it and have got some deep targets. I based this off of the MXT I run as I always ran it a little unstable and got a little deeper. Any thought's or suggestions? Am I...

    AT Pro and silver?

Are there any air tests out there for silver with the AT Pro? Or even some actual hunts finding silver? I know it does well with gold and relics but was curious how deep it'll pick up various silver pieces? Thanks

What's up with Tesoro water detectors???

It's been a long time! I have been holding out for the Tiger Shark for a long time as well. I have a water detector, but have been wanting a good back up and by the sounds may be my primary in fresh water. Are we going to see a Tesoro water detector again? I am getting very impatient, but love...
