    New coil won't connect?

    You don't have to delete any coils unless you're not ever using them anymore. I left the 9" and the 13" on there and pair up the one I'm using that day. leave them on the coil list.

    Lockup

    I did the same exact thing and had a brief head panic. One further . . I was updating the headphones and accidentally changed the language. How am I supposed to know what I'm doing when I can't read the screen? I lucked out and got it right, Whew!

    Fast 40, I see is different than Fast . . . .but Fast 40 isn't on the list of programs in the manual. And it isn't Deus Mono.     Yes "firm" is the word to describe the amount of pressure it takes to activate e button/switch. Never noticed a "hull" movement. The remote looks to be built strong.

    That's it buckeeee. The plastic rod attached to the plug is where it broke and the little rod slipped into the phones . . .when I shake it, it rattles. Jed, good idea. They should have made a screw in plug like on the D2 remote.

    A question for you folks

    On 1700 and 1800's home sites that have been lived in for a couple hundred years with old and new junk/trash . . .aluminum bugs me the most. Iron square nails aren't as bad because they at least date the site. I appreciate a nice square nail now and again.

    Pinpointers ... what are your current recommendations?

    Garrett Carrot. Knock wood, no problems, had it since it came out. Before that the regular Garrett . . before that and the crappy Whits Bullseye. before that, dirt over the coil. I like the Carrot the best.
