    That's a tough call, I like FBS myself. I think if you have a regular battery and a extra middle rod you'd be better off selling the x1 and RnB seperate. Jmo.. Don't seem to be much interest in FBS anymore, not like there was

    Another thing I wanted to say about FBS,safari,Quattro etc..they not only hit hard on nickels and gold, but at depth and ID them better than anything. I always read they're no good on anything but high conductors but I've found just as many nickels if not more with a FBS than any other machine...

    The biggest difference in the FBS machines and speed is the visual processor.. I've not found one faster than the next in hitting targets audio wise,,, but the visual display does update faster on say a explorer SE than that of a explorer 2.. I love the safari, probably my favorite FBS...

    At pro and at gold are both great machines..people tend to forget that it was Garrett that set the bar with the at gold/pro,,,so thank them for these other companies producing machines you may use or like..

    Cranework,nice. I do some climbing,actually started out with just a pickup truck and my climbing gear about 25 years back. I still climb once in awhile but it’s a young man’s game, if I can’t get my bucket truck to it I usually bid so high they just don’t call back.

    Get yourself a set of Garrett Z link. Then you can use whatever headphones you want..I’ve used these on my V3i, no problem and they work great and you can plug your wired headphones into the receiver and it has a bell clip..

    Ya know,I find just as much or more with a nokta score as I do with a legend, same with a vanquish and equinox. Some machines are deeper,seperate easier, but when it comes down to actual finds some of my best and most valuable finds where with a Tesoro, no meter and no settings at all. Go figure
