    New G2+ owner

Added a brand new G2+ to my arsenal of machines for civil war relic hunting. Any suggestions on settings would be appreciated. Thanks all..

    More lead. Same spot

Finally made it back to the new permission after three months in Ohio. Good to be back in Maryland. Tried a different spot on the 300 acre farm. I think there is lead all over the property. To me a mixture of rebel and Yankee relics is a good day. Thanks for looking.

    Re: Large silver ring

Got a permission to a house that dates back to the 1920s. Was using the mxt all pro, with the sledgehammer coil, lol, (13" detech) as my digging buddy refers to it. Found the normal silver and wheats, and old clad. Then about 7-8 inches down, about five feet from the front door, this monster...

    Large silver ring

Got another permission, it's a yard that goes back to about the 1920s. Found the normal silver and wheats. Not to many relics. But this ring was hiding about 8" down about five feet from the front door. My Mxt pro hammered it. Thought is was a half dollar. Thanks for looking.

Found this at a park. Anyone know anything about this type of key? Thanks for any info.

    One last try

Got out one more time today before I have to go back to work. All this shot lead was found about 75-100 yards behind where all the drops were found. They definitely slugged it out on this property. Good luck and thanks for looking.

    More rebel lead

Got out again today at the new permission, still pulling Confederate lead with some Yankee stuff here and there. Thanks for looking.

    Union lead today

Went out today with a new digging buddy. These are from two different sites. Thanks for looking.

    Confederate lead

Tried another area on the new permission where there isn't so many cow patties. Getting a feel for the place, even though I'm going to hunt every inch over and over. Lol. Thanks for looking.

    New permission

Started a new permission yesterday. I'm very excited about this one. Thanks for looking.

    Thoughts on all this lead

I found these items in a camp that I was told was used by both sides, during the Maryland campaign. Just curious if any of the Minnie balls could be Confederate. Mainly the three o the right side. Thanks, and good luck.

Can v3i be set deeper than preset coin & jewelry program?

Hopefully I don't start an argument, but here was my depth solution. I had a v3i and loved it, but never really got silver dimes past 6", so my local whites dealer hooked me up with a mxt pro with a 13" detech. Depth issue solved. I also have the mx sport now, it's way deeper than my v ever was...

    Mx sport relic mode

How does the two tone feature work in relic mode if you run with no disc, would all targets be a high tone? Thanks for any input.

    Favorite coin program

Just curious what are most v3i users favorite coin programs and why? I ask because my mxt pro and now the MX sport seem to just simply find more coins for me. How can this be? Thanks for the input.

    Learning the V3i

Can someone explain the difference between consistency and intensity? Thanks

    V3i First Voyage

Yup, a solid 19 is always a nickel on mine to, but I have found that v nickels and shield nickels may read just a little higher.

    Turning Off Tones

I wouldn't think narrowing the tones would do anything for the machine, but it probly surely helps you. I do it all the time. I simply pick whatever tone I want for certain targets, and that definitely helps the machine between my ears when I'm swinging through lots of trashy area. Sometimes...

Thanks for the advice and opinions. I really appreciate it. Good luck.

Got to love the v3i. I'm sure your friend does as well. Good job.
