    With the knox always dig until the hole doesn't give you a good signal. I can't believe how many good coins I get that have 3 or 4 pieces of trash in with it

    Be careful what you throw in the trash!

    I had a ring marked 14K but it was black and corroded. After further looking someone had put clear nail polish on it. The nail polish let moisture in and it was mold and mildew. Once I got the polish off it shined like it was supposed too.

    6 years long went by since selling my v3i. Got One again!!

    I think I have my V3i in tune and make great finds with it. However every time I use it it makes me think of different things I can do to improve my hunting. I’m still learning and getting better after 3 years with it.

    No the Equinox doesn't show the different frequencies. I does do faster sweeping and hit's deep enough for most

    Vx3 is a very versital detector that can be set up for many different types of hunting. Yes it can be set up to run in high trash areas you might want to get a small sniper coil to help out

    Here’s a hint deep zincs on the Vx3 are probably old wheats or IHP’s. Mine read just like a wheat but VDI in the high 80’s to low 90’s. If you want to find a specific target put it on the ground and see what your machine tells you. Good luck

    I always leave mine in auto. Yes it does change sometimes depending on how long you lay your machine down over a target while your digging a different target.

    Deeper, covers more area and is sensitive. The coil will hit some small trash items at 5-6". I ALWAYS RUN 3 FREQ . I OWN BOTH THE u13 AND 12X15 BOTH ARE GREAT COILS. DO you run mix mode stereo? Also I don't discriminate out VDI's but assign a zero tone to them. Go super slow and let the...

    I don't think the boost does much in higher mineralized areas

    Set up your gain to where it's stable. Start low like 3 and work your way up. My gain can only get to 7 before it becomes unstable.
