    Please pray for my mom...

She has decided to stop dialysis after 4 years of it and let nature take it's course. She's tired and wants to go to Heaven now. Thanks, Neal

Dug this "can" signal this morning...

and out popped a 1923 Peace Dollar. My first silver dollar ever! Good thing it was early on in the hunt or I wouldn't have bothered with it. Neal

    Silver and gold...

Dug about 90 minutes at a sports field and got this 10k men's band. Went home after that because I was already pushing the clock to take some grand kids bowling. BTW the ring fits and I'm wearing it. It was a solid 71 on the G2 down about 3 or 4 inches. HH Neal

I took a walk in the woods today...

Well, it was more like a jungle safari but I managed to get over some goodies. 1853 dime, 1872 indian(rare), 1934 dime and some lead. I think I'll wait until about February to go back into that maze of thorns and growth again though. HH Neal

    Friday's tour of 2 parks...

I set out Friday to try a park that has turned up goodies but she's really getting thin there now so I moved 20 minutes west to another park that I've never hunted before and got a 1930 merc, 1905 indian, 1934 one franc and 7 wheats. The shallow clad was noticeably thin in this particular park...

Susan and I went on a road trip to see my daughters and grandson...

I got to see them for 2 days and then did some serious park hunting on the way home. This is from 2 different parks plus the silver quarter was from a vacant lot up near my daughter's home. I've found one of those big brass thingy's before, looks like horse gear to me-anyone know? Neal

CTX users who are very experienced Explorer users...

Since I've moved to KY I've experienced much more iron/minerals in the ground. This causes many good targets that are deep to be pulled totally to the iron side of the screen on my Explorer. Is the CTX any better at keeping deep targets out of the iron zone than Explorers or is it the same...

    Early Navy button

I dug this one last week at a local homesite. Got a couple of other early 1800 buttons too. I think this is Albert's NA 53. Maybe from the War of 1812. HH Neal

From a battle in a small town in KY...and a whatzit....

The battle was fierce for a day. These were from a yard near the shooting. What is the brass thing at the bottom? It's very heavy duty and looks like part of the top legs are broken off. Thanks, Neal

Bryce and all you guys that have used the RNB battery for a year or so...

I was wondering how the RNB battery is holding a charge after several hundred hours of use? Can you tell a difference? I would expect it to lose some at this stage. Anyone?

My Minelab Explorer XS found every one of these for me...

Some of them were 16" plus. All were fairly deep. All were near lots of iron. I can't say enough about how good I think Minelab machines are! BTW these were dug over a period of 10 years. Neal
