    Screen protection

    I put a neoprene type screen protector hood on mine. So far my only complaint is the clear shield is quite reflective if you tilt it towards the sun or bright sky. Normal detecting tho it works great and no more muddy/dirty fingerprints on the control.

    How to reset the Legend back to factory defaults ?

    When I updated to 1.11 it took several tries to get them to pair but maybe (or as the wife says, probably..) it was just me. I dont pair any phones or other devices so trying to keep it simple.

    I do. School lets out at 2:15 on Fridays and he asked if I was busy…..😂😂 Altho he is very slow and methodical I was impressed how fast he took direction. I think he will get a few years out of that Garrett as well.

    Just remember any all settings you had will revert back to factory original. Hard part I thought was repairing the headphones to the detector.

    Ring find

    That was my first big ring find with the F5, it was about 5-6” deep in a small picnic area used for years. I dont know what was there during the logging camp but the big meadow adjacent to it is where the turnstyle was to turn the small train engines around after unloading the cut logs.

    11 is what that one guy was screaming about on YouTube when it first was included in the 1-11 iron category. Then the next update fixed that to 1-10 but so far all my 11 hits have been tin or smaller canslaw. Someday……
