Hey guys hope you having great day, looking to upgrade my sand scoop to CKG what is the best model you recommend ?

Cant remember the model but I use the stainless steel one with 1/2 inch hex holes. It works great and I'm very happy with it. Some people prefer the titanium one because it's a whole lot lighter. It's also 3 times the price.

Wanted to share a little bit of luck

Cool story Wood. Those gold chains are difficult on some of the higher end detectors too. Looks like luck was in your side on this one.

    Needs some help here

The small circle control you mentioned is the deus 2 WS6 master. The main difference is the smaller circle puck that takes the place of the full size controller is not submersible. The WS6 master is what I own and I'm very happy with it.

    It's soooooooo dry

Dry as a bone here in Alabama too and way to hot to enjoy outdoor activities like metal detecting. I need get motivated and start detecting the good old Tennessee river again. I havent had alot of luck there but at least it will be alot cooler and I can actually dig in the ground.

So, $599 for the top-o-the-line vortex. to me that sounds pretty reasonable....

If the Vortex lives up to the hype, $599 is a steal.

    Advice

Cant help with the time period other than to say it's old. If your finding surface finds like that I encourage you to join our hobby and purchase a detector. No telling what you might find in that field.
