    Stopped on my way to work today at a field that the town just cut the bushes and hay.This was the first thing I dug. It looks to be a 1787 Geogivs/Britannia half penny can read the word Britan on the left side and there is a star on the shield.

    Update on copper found with new 11" coil.

    After soaking in olive oil for for 48 hours I still have no date.The strike was so close to the edge and the edge is so ragged that there is no room for the date.
