    Some Coin Porn

I got my 1/4 Stator back from last September while I was in Colchester couldn’t resist a picture of the two coins found with my French Tickler. The two coins and the counter stamp make for a Ménage à tros Sorry had to say it. Get out there.

Here’s a little eye candy. I picked up my 1/4 Celt while I was there. The two are the odd couple.

    Big Honking Silver

I’m just back from my spring UK 🇬🇧 trip. I hit a very large not that old but cool coin. I hit this in pasture at 10-11” inches. No problem hearing this as you might guess. I picked up this coin and 4 KG III copper’s in one 5’ X 5’ spot. The debate is ongoing as to whether it is a contemporary...

    Got a question?

Hello, I own both and hunt them pretty regularly. I lean towards the Deus 2 mostly but the Manticore is no slouch. Ease of use I think goes to the D2 as the Manticore can live up to it's Beast nickname especially for a new user. IMHO. Get out there.

    Discrimination vs. Notch??

It would sound the same but wouldn’t be the same. You would be using a tremendous amount of discrimination. I know there are programs that do exactly this But less discrimination is always better.

    Discrimination vs. Notch??

This is the great debate. But I think it should be Disc VS Notch VS Tone Break. My take on this has always been Tone Break instead of discrimination or Notch. I subscribe to the thinking of Andy Sabisch on this. Basically discrimination is just a necessary evil. Use it with caution. I never...
