    Its doing what it is supposed to do,if you want to hear a little more move the tone to 5 there will be a tick sound. Yazoo

    Why reject anythig?Accepet everything and assign it a 0 tone if you do not want to hear it but,a 5 will let you know of a for sure clean ground for GBing. if using the V3i.     Low conductors reading high--why?

    Detune it a bit looks like you are way hot. Try a gain of about 6 and disc at about 84-86 then bump a lil at a time to make it hotter or go the other way. G.L. Yazoo

    You are correct Larry .Although I have had mine completely submerged in water. Dont think they mean for use by divers but they are pretty tough for general use as far as hand held in the water. The speaker is water proof ,does not need taped or sealed up. Yazoo

    Stuck on Overload

    Do you have a coil cover and if so did you look for anything in it to cause overload? Some soils could have enuff stuff in it to cause a overload . Just a thought. Good Luck 2 Ya .Yazoo

    Could someone give me a brief run down on V3i how to program a different size coil, I've forgotten how to do it-and haven't seen it in owner's manual.

    There is no specific program for any coil. If you want to know how to select the coil for your detector for depth ? It goes like this menue -expert- configure-scroll down to loop selection. Hope this helps . Yazoo

    From what i have checked the coil out,by going outside I think it is better than my black one and the black one did pretty well in the bottom 2 freqs. You didnt have to send the snow north and east Rob. LOL Yazoo

    My replacement sef 10x12 vrated coil showed up....kind of.

    I got a new 10X12 sef for Christmas, in multi freaq out side it cranked up 2 15 and TX on with no jumping around .Signal showed 3-4 noise 40% looks like it might be a keeper , i usually dont run that hot or TX anyway. I use TX with a low sens.settings sometimes . Yazoo

    Go to expert then enter then audio enter ,scroll down towireless head phones enter ,scroll down and check speaker the trigger back out .You are in speaker. H.H. Yazoo
