    Flag pole eagle?

This was found in a site with flat buttons and some round 36. cal pistol balls. Not a house site. Could it be the wing from a flag pole eagle. Seems to be brass. Thanks, Mike

    Carved bullet

Check out the workmanship on this bullet. This is my first carved bullet. The guy had talent! Mike

    Local relics

I dug these here on my farm. There was a Yankee campsite here. I used the Nautilus 2B as these were fairly deep. The soil is sandy and I love how the brass comes out. Mike

    Today's finds

Finally got a chance to hunt one of my favorite fields today. These were found on my farm where sweet potatoes had been planted and were dug last week. Not much to rant about but more evidence of "Yankee Invaders" on my farm! Silver pocket watch cover, thimble, rivets, fired round ball, dropped...

    A couple of firsts

Found my first large cent (1848) and seated coin (1877 dime) this weekend! The ground is too hard to dig but if it rains soon, I am sure this site holds more goodies! The Tejon works great even in "concrete"! Mike :clapping:[attachment 67305 Coinsandbuttons006Small.jpg][attachment 67306...

    Detector repair

My XLT needs repair. The display either will not work or starts working and then quits. Should I call the repair center first or just send it on with the details? Thanks, Mike

    Little help

I'm trying to learn my 5900 Di Pro SL. I seem to be digging way too much iron. Even with Max Disc. and Geb. Disc. the meter signals quarter/half and hey... I gotta dig that right? Well it seems to be iron every time. Good depth some at 10 plus inches but I sure would love to keep moving and hit...

    Novice here

Hello, my first post. I am totally new to detecting and have to admit that I am overwhelmed at the selection of detectors and their strong points. I would like to do some of it all, coins, relics, etc. and really don't know which machine to buy. I have been looking at a used Whites 5900 DI Pro...
