I have every other coild except the 8 inch coil for it and only other coil I would want is the old 4" coil but I rarely see them around for sale...     Got my 5" coil back.....

    Yesterday I got my %" round dd coil back from Fisher labs. They checked it out and replaced the connector and the cable. I made it out today and it seems much better now. I foind soome coins and 3 earring studs and 1 earring. I am not sure if any are good but they sure are small.

    Yesterday and todays finds....

    Minelabe detector question....

    With the drop in price of gold I wonder if buying a new minelab is even worthwhile. A few months ago the price of gols was getting close to $2000. Meanin that you only would need 2.5 to 3 ounces of gold to pay for the detector. But with the drop of golds value it will be close to 4 or 5 ounces...
