    Important find

For those hunters that use the Garrett Propointer and have or will experience this type of problem. [www.youtube.com] The problem is that moisture has creeped in the pointer and condensed on the circuit board causing this malfunction. Solution: Remove battery. Remove the rubber boot over the...

    Sterling spacers

Went tot lot hunting for gold (since I don't have gold nuggets in my area), but this time only silver spacers. This bug is very hot on small metal. These spacers were about 3 feet apart and gave a very soft audio that stopped me in my tracks. The bug found them but it took me a while to...

    How many

How many fellow hunters remember this. Once the word got out I could work on detectors they seem to come out of the woodwork. Really nice machine for its time.

    Baptizing hole finds

AT Pro finds. Normal junk, but a badge and what looks like a pewter high school ring with a red stone came from a baptizing hole in use for 100+ years.

    Horse and shoe

After yesterdays hunt, I thought I would share my thoughts and finds again. This Gold Bug machine continues to amaze me with its audio. However, be forewarned, you must have a good quality set of headphones in order take full advantage of all the audio nuances this machine offers. Now before...

    First time out

Received the Gold Bug DP Thursday, but finally got out today. Got to hunt about an hour before the skies became dark and the rain set in. First thoughts were very promising. Ground balance is much faster than previous machines I've used. Extremely sensitivity to lower conductors like gold and...

    pleased

I was amazed at how much detail the AT Pro has in pro mode. Within 20 minutes I could tell the metal on pencil eraser while it was in the ground. The last machine I could do that was the Tesoro Vaquero. The AT

    Real problems

I have wanted to post my findings on an occurrence that happened to me several times a couple years ago in regards to the Fisher F75 LTD, but I must give a little history beforehand. I originally migrated from the Tesoro line of detectors to the Fisher series around 2008 mainly at the advice of...

    I miss my F75 LTD

I so miss the LTD, but mostly the original F75. Very good machines, but a little chattery with EMI. They sure got the AT Pro beat with speed and depth.
