    Horse item ???

I would guess say wagon related. The brass ring is a reins turret/guide. The other brass hook, perhaps to tie them off. It almost looks like the base was adjustable. Neat find.

    ?

Being made of Cast Brass I think it would be strictly ornamental. Every seed plate I have ever seen is Cast Iron.

Silver Quarters, Thick Silver Ring with Small Diamond and Small-Town Merchant Tokens

I have the 1902 copy of the Sears & Robuck catalog also. I use it from time to time, usually to check some piece of old plated jewelry or household item. It is very illustrative. A 1897 copy would be nice to have too.

The Legend V1.15 dt feature in Minerals & Iron

I have been quite impressed with the dt feature of the new V1.115 update for the Legend. It really helps on deeper targets, especially in mineralized dirt. The dt feature also seems to help some in unmasking good targets in iron trash. I have uploaded 3 videos to my channel , "Red Dirt...

    ?

Perhaps from a fancy Oil Lamp. The chimney could have sat inside the raised ring and the 3 armed wire shade support indexed and rested on the outside of the ring. Whatever it actually is, it is defiantly a nice older find.

    Beast mode nets gold today.....

    That is very nice.

    MXT VDI Discrimination

There is not any "hard" correlation chart, or even single Disc point/VDI that I have seen. It would not be universal or accurate enough to use anyway. The marked reference points are meant to be a relative index. You just have to test targets & build a working understanding of the effect. The...

    DeepTech Innovation

I like Paul Warren’s channel very much. I’ve been a subscriber to it for a good while. The problem of negative comments is nothing new. Most of those are from people who watch and hear what they want to hear instead of actually listening & thinking about what he is saying. Of course, there are...

@oldkoot , I may do a video with the Vista X and Demon coil. Maybe some comparison with some other units with big coils.

    DeepTech Innovation

The Demon coil is a little bit on the heavy side but if you shorten the lower shaft about an inch it swings well. It is noticeably deeper than the stock 11” and still separates very very well.

(Want to buy) Wanted To Buy: Fisher ID edge OR Coinstrike

Both of those units were really ahead of their time & would be fun to play with. For a Rutus you might check Detetniks in the UK. They often have a used Atrex or Alter 71. The Atrex comes close to the newer Versa in many ways with the latest SMF update. Shipping is not too bad.

    Arm Cuff Padding

I have added a layer of the soft pile side of 2" Velcro to several of my detectors' arm rest, including the Vista X. You can also use closed cell foam padding tape

    V 1.15 is now available

Not much yet. The DT deep target function works well and is practical anyway.

    Finally got my X

The Vista X will be a great unit for you, but the real treasure is reaffirming a friend & finding a hunting buddy.
