    M9 depth and separation abilities.

Dan, I'm a believer. Hunting city parks I have added 28 silvers to the coffers this year. Most were masked in one way or another, some shallow some deep but I was able to get enough tone and a blip of VDI to dig. Amazingly I dug a seated in the wide open at not quite 5 in. down. But there was...

    Manticore adds some More !

fwcrawford thank you. Ha ha, yea, just from the tone and trace I would have bet lunch that was big silver. And then seeing the edge, what a quick ride of elation and let down. Part of what makes this hobby fun. And like I said maybe next time Miss Morgan will show up. Good luck.

    Manticore depth question

My deepest coin so far was an Indian at a good 11 inches. That was with the 9in. coil. ATLC, Rec.4 Sens.26 . For the dirt here in western Pa. that would be considered a very deep target for any detector.

Thank you Odanscoils. Lovin that 9 in. coil. First time I really put any time in on a round coil. I had the Sunray X8 for the Etrac but never used it much. Good luck.

    Manticore adds some More !

Thank you Ted. Unfortunately the ground in that area is not very kind to coins. Good luck to you. I hope that spot keeps producing for you laplander. As I said until recently, I was lucky if the place would give up a wheat or old nickel. Now this year the place has lit up, maybe in part due to...

    Equinox 6" coil 2025 Review

First off, if you don't feel like reading this, I highly recommend it. I ran it almost exclusively on the 800 & 900 for just about 6 years. I tried the 5x10. ran it for about 40 hunts or so and decided the 6 was better. It hits dimes in clean ground at 9 -10 inches no problem. I have had deeper...

    Manticore adds some More !

As an intro. I didn't get around to posting about the hunt prior to these 2 which I scored 4 silver dimes including a seated to give me my second dime trifecta for the year. The area, only a couple hundred yards from my honeyhole has given up silver and Ihps in the past...

    Equinox 900 readings

Install the 6 in. coil. Do a factory reset, Try Field 2. This combo will be more stable than Park 1. If still jumpy try the single frequencies, if it still persists try another location. If that doesn't work contact Minelab. Good luck Mark

Yes sir, the first sale they had it at 1099 then around the holidays the sale price was 1199 which is when I got one and now with the price increase its 1299. They keep jacking up the price and pretty soon we will be seeing the on sale price the same as the original MSRP of 1599. Not thrilled...

Another Multiple Silver Hunt w/ A Nickel Trifecta

Thank you Mark kus. I agree, the 9in. hits plenty deep even while running a high recovery speed. As far as hunting the edge's, you're a silver magnet, you seem to find silver wherever you hunt. :) Good luck. Mark
