    4 to 5 inches matches my experience as well. Wish it was a bit deeper,,, but it isn't in the dirt around here. Doesn't make it any less of a great detector though. Great little machine!

    Since borrowing a friend 600 I have decided to get a Nox of my own. I was thinking that I had to buy OEM Minelab wireless headphones, but I was just reading that I could buy some aftermarket ones like the ones linked below and they will work just fine? And these would work with the 600 as well...
