    Equinox on loan

Well, the Equinox has been returned. Got to hunt with it twice. If I found a deal, I would certainly purchase one of my own. One take away that I really enjoy is that now I better understand what is going on when I watch youtubers that use the Nox. Thanks to everyone that shared tips!

    Detector storage

Lol,,,, I'm not near that organized. I have 3 machines propped in one corner upstairs, and 2 propped in a corner downstairs. Accessory coils are scattered from spare bedroom closet,,, to spare bed, to desk downstairs.

    Garrett 150?

MuddyMo is correct, it really is a kids machine. But you asked about the dollar value of the 150. If your budget allows, a Nokta Makro Simplex would likely satisfy your needs for a good while. You might look it up at Big Biy Hobbies out of Oklahoma. Most all dealers will offer free shipping...

    Garrett 150?

Welcome to the forum. My opinion,,, $100 is at the very top of its value range. I personally would be looking to buy it for much less. More importantly, the 150 is a very entry level machine that you will likely outgrow very quickly. I'm not saying don't buy it,,, we all have to start...

    Only took six years,,,

This will seem silly to some,,, I see you guys dig them all the time. I've been detecting for six or so years now. In all that time I have never dug an Indian Head Penny. Well today the empty lot in town gave me my first. Now I just gotta find one from the 1800's.

    Equinox on loan

Okay,,, after a couple hours of swinging it,,,,,,, I like it!!! Started off in Field 1 w/ 50 tones,,,,, then Park 1 w/ 50 tones,,,,, but settled in on Park 1 w/ 5 tones. I did perform a noise cancel and opted to ground balance. I dug a few screw caps,,, and plenty of rusty nails. But I...

    Equinox on loan

Tell me about bottle caps and rusty nails,,,, the empty town lot I am going to this afternoon is loaded with both. I know I will just have to dig some, but what are the tells of these two trash items? Thanks in advance!

    Equinox on loan

I know what you're saying. I got the chance to swing it over my coin garden this afternoon,,, field 1 seemed to work best in the garden,,,, but it is not that trashy in my yard either. I'm gonna try to swing it for real on a short hunt after work tomorrow.
