    interesting military? buttons from colonial site - any ideas?

    farm site has been settled since 1700's. anyone have any thoughts? 2 different good buttons today for 4 hours work plus some colonial flats and 2 Injuns one was an 1873 and the other a no date... buttons have only been rinsed with warm water - no other cleaning. thanks for any assistance. Barry
