    Warranty on T2+

    Picketwire, I'm sending the machine back on Tuesday. I have all the documentation they require for proof of purchase. I hope this will have a happy ending and I'll be able to say what a great company Teknetics is and that they honor their warranty. I guess we'll see.

    First spin with the new t2 12” coil

    How much deeper that the stock coil? The 12" is a little pricey but not really when compared to aftermarket coils. I like to try to stick to the ORM coils if I can.

    You got that right, nothing but good experiences with Bigboyshobbies for me. Kellyco always charges tax and shipping and wants to charge you for a lot of extra crap you don't need or want but I will say they have good customer service and returns are not a problem.

    F75+ from Amazon

    I was looking at an F75+ on amazon but I'm kind of leary about buying it because they don't tell you who the seller is. Is Amazon selling bootleg chinese copy machines?

    T2+ overload

    Did all that and the bad thing it that it still gives the overload raise coil message even with the coil disconnected from the head. I finally got to talk to someone a Teknetics today and I'm sending it in for a warranty repair I hope. I'll see how that goes and let everybody know.

    I got the Teknetics Tek-Point when I bought my T-2+. This pin pointer is awesome, a lot better than the Garrett that I have.

    Just turned on the T2+ and as soon as it went through it cycle it starting giving the overload tone, anyone else had this problem?

    Ground balance

    I've seen YouTube videos of people not even ground balancing their machines, they are saying it doesn't matter. I have to disagree with this GB is important for your machine to perform at it's best. It sounds like you GB your detector as well.

    I always ground balance my detectors to get the optimum performance out of them and normally I get a lot higher numbers, these low numbers just didn't seem right . I just got to trust the machine that it is ground balancing correctly. I guess it all depends on the soil your hunting in.

    I've used the Equinox 600 a couple times now and I'm not that impressed with it, I think the T2+will definitely hang with it and might even surpass it. I will give the Equinox credit it is good in trashy spots. I think I still like the T2+ better
