    When I did the air test I had the disc set at 0, are you saying the T2 will get better depth with the disc set at 40-50?

    I pulled the trigger on the Minelab Equinox 600. I did an air test today and the Equinox is about an inch to an inch a half deeper than the T2+. I know an air test is not really accurate but it is what it is. The T2+ is a great machine so I'm going to hit places with the T2+ and then go back...

    A friend of mine just bought a Mindlab Eqinox 600, he brought it over for me to check out and I wasn't impressed. I'm sure it's a good machine but he said it didn't even come with a manual so he had no clue how to operate it. I think he was hoping I could help him out with it but I was no help...

    Relic hunt turned into and arrowhead hunt

    Went out for a while last Saturday, found a few Civil War relics then I saw this broken arrowhead base and the search was on for Indian artifacts for the next 2 hours with no luck, just a few flakes.

    Does anyone on this forum use the Equinox 800 for relic hunting? Next question, has anyone ever used a Teknetics T2+ and switched over to the Eqinox? I'm looking for a comparison between the two machines.

    One thing about it 2 Much you never find it all, I've gone back to places I've hunted time and time again and I can always find something. The finds dwindle down but there's still stuff there you just have to run your coil over it.

    I have the T2+, I can't use boost when I'm in All Metal Mode. BP can only be used when I'm in the Discrimination Mode, please correct me if I'm wrong here and tell me how to set my machine up for this.
