    Thomas dankowski still tuning cz’s

Reading posts from metal detector folk about depth, kind of reminds me of something that I heard years ago, about two guys on a bridge taking a piss. One guy says to the other guy, boy that water is cold and the other guys says Yep and deep too.

    Safari and Quattro Differences

One thing for sure about the Quattro, it has one of the slowest sweep recovery speeds I have ever seen on a detector. Years ago I was at a competitive beach hunt/coin shoot and a young fellow was there trying to use a Quattro and after the first day of the hunt, he had zilch. I felt sorry for...

    Fisher Coinstrike

I used to own 3 C$'s and eventually sold two of them and kept one. I use my C$ at the beach all the time and it works great, but you have to lower sensitivity when you get in the wet sand or else it will false on you. It is still my favorite all around detector. I wound up picking them up from...

If you own a Fisher Coinstrike then you know this one is hard to come by.

I love how people say that the C$ loves round objects. But after using close to 30 different detectors at one time or another, I found they ALL love round objects.

    One of my hobbies

I received the Creole Queen in a box, partially built by a master modeler who had recently passed away before it's completion. I was able to finish it within 6 months. It was a commission piece. I was made R/C operational with the paddle wheel being operated by a motor. I also installed lnterior...

    One of my hobbies

I also built a tall wooden ship model for my local hospital, which auctioned it off to help buy equipment for their cardio rehab facility. It was won by a local Doctor.

    One of my hobbies

Thank you for all the king words fellows. Here is a little more eye candy. I built the HMS Victory as a for my local library. I received wood from England from the real Victory ship and incoporated it into the model. The city Council gave me a letter of commendation. It's on the back of a city...

    One of my hobbies

Some are scratch built and some are from kits. Some were commission pieces, while others were kits or projects started by well meaning builders that just couldn't finish, so I stepped in.
