    Nox 600

I do not have the 600, but have an 800 (few more features), but have a friend that uses the 600 and he loves it. Before that he had the Simplex, but likes the 600 much better. Still a very capable machine in my opinion.

    Finally found one!

Nice finds!!👍 Like stated above , that coin looks like it was lost shortly after it was minted. In 19 years of detecting, I have only found two of them.

    Any ideas

Looks like a printing plate to me… If it has small holes around the perimeter, it would ha been nailed to a small block of wood. Used for some type of advertising would be my guess. Neat find!!

I Think This Might Be The #1 Reason We Have So Much Competition Today

Well, actually in this case, he never used it after he bought it… only put it together and charged it up, then left it behind when he went to the beach a few months ago. As far as I know he has not used it yet..

I Think This Might Be The #1 Reason We Have So Much Competition Today

A guy I know bought a brand new detector to use at the beach last Christmas and only put it together and charged it before going to the beach a couple months ago, then told me he left it at home because he did not have room for it!! I do not look for that metal detector to get much use….🤭

I Think This Might Be The #1 Reason We Have So Much Competition Today

I have only been in the hobby for about 20 years now, but growing I never saw anyone detecting. The first time I saw someone detecting was in the early 90's on small beach at a state park. I never saw anyone else until quite a while after I got into the hobby. I agree with what others have...

Old Lock & Few Silver Coins and Jewelry

Nice finds there Dave! I like the lock…..I found one similar in size and shape to it some years ago and mine is shown in a Sears And Robuck reproduction catalog from 1897 and 1902, so I think you are correct in the era it was made. The silver cover you mentioned is a watch cover? Looks to be...

    Finds from the river today....

Whatever it is made of, it must be porous…. It is still damp after sitting all night. I even set it out in the sun yesterday after I got home. So graphite will give a response to a metal detector? The shape is intriguing to me..it fits comfortably in my hand and is almost perfectly circular...

    Finds from the river today....

After a very short period of cool weather, It got hot and humid again, but the river cleared up and has dropped some, so I decided to give it a try again. This is only my third trip this year as the water has been too high due to lots of rain. I got a nice count of quarters along with a few lead...

    vdi numbers for xterra pro

I see what you are asking now… you may have to try testing some items that read close to 30 to find out. I just tested a quarter which typically reads 88… when I rejected it, I did not get any signal when swinging over the quarter. Sometimes they will read between 87-90, so from my tests it...

    Lake finds today....

This is probably my last lake hunt for the year and probably me best day. Not much to be found this year, but you never know what that next beep will be. I found this pendant and it read low on my XTP like in the nickel range. It is quite heavy for the size and it is 5mm thick in the center and...
