Why so many people dumping the Deus 2

I keep coming back to this thread out of curiosity to gauge what is happening. I checked Flee bay this moning an only saw (2) used D2'a for sale. One from a dealer and one from a guy in Quebec. The hunting season fror him is going to close soon due to winter. So I see that sale as a "I need...

Maybe a little help for those with back problems.

After an hour of hunting I am looking for a place to sit down to rest my back. I learned to dig up the targets while standing up. If I do need to get on my knees It helps to have a 30" shovel with a D handle I can use as a lever to get back up. 72 now. When I first started detecting it was...

    Stay OUT of Old Mines

We left with huge chunks of clear crystalline salt that you could see through. Imbedded in the salt was ancient Seaweed and air bubbles with seawater trapped inside from 400 million years ago. It was mind Boggling to have that. The Exposure of the specimens to our environment and humidity...

    Stay OUT of Old Mines

My brotherinlaw worked in a Detroit Salt Mine years ago. Once a year they had a family day and relatives could tour the mine. We did the tour and it was incredible. The only way in and out is a horizontal shaft that had a personal lift that could take no more then 8 at a time. All the pick up...

    Stay OUT of Old Mines

In College I majored for several years in Geology. This was in the early 1970's in an active mining district. Fellow students and I did explore a 1860 hard rock basalt mine shaft in the copper country. Very interesting. Veins of Pure copper and crystals were still embedded in the mine walls...

Disappointment Right Out Of The Box…D2

My new unit came with two bolts, washers and nuts. Also the 9" coil I recieved Monday had 2 sets of fasteners snd a lower shaft rod. I don't forsee the need for extra parts but I did loose a nut once on another unit. So stuff can happen. Local hardware stores here have nylon bolts and nuts

    My Deus2 coil has shipped!

I found a coin spill on a fresh water beach this summer with my Macro Kruzer and the 7" concentric coil. Then the beach crew showed up with a 4 wheeler to rake the sand BEFORE I could get all the coins out. I returned the next day with the D2 and the 11" coil. I had a heck of a time isolating...

D2 silver with Program 2. Fast Full Tones

Reseach brought me to a 50's housing area that was raised a few years ago for new town houses. Only twenty percent of the area was rebuilt at this time. There are acres of overgrown land with plenty of tall weeds. I began exploring the area under the older trees. Immediately I was finding coins...
