    Has anyone used a sound amplifier on a X-70 ? :confused:

    I had to modify my head phones to match the way ML has their ground in their phone jack and I have an amplifier but it will have to be modified also to work properly in the X-70 jack. I wounder if the amplifier will help with the weak threshold sounds.

    Whites customer service is GREAT

    I had talked to Tony at Whites the other day about a problem that I had with an old 2 box detector and they sent me a service booklet on all of there old models. It was every thing from 1947 to 1974 production. A lot of good information on repairing old detectors. Thanks Whites :clapping:

    My first X-70 gold

    I found this religious charm in a trashy beach area and thought that it was a gold coin. It is 18K and weighs 4 gram. I was using the HF DD coil and it read like a pull tab end.

    My 2006 Ganes Nugget

    :detecting:This is the 5.956 oz nugget that I dug at Ganes cr the first week . It was 14" down and read out loud and strong with my MXT. I ran in the relic mode most of the time. The picture with the good spirits was to show the size of the gold only. The spirits disappeared soon after.:cheers:

    MXT hip mount

    Has any one chest mounted or hip mounted a MXT ? Does Whites make a coil extension cable for the MXT ? I run a detector for 8-10 hours a day sometimes and using a large coil, your arms tend to get tired.
