    Why do I get tons of positive vdi numbers in the red and rejected?

    Thanks everyone for the very informative comments. I think what I'll do is mainly trust the signagraph and not so much the numbers. The large red bar in fact did appear in a rejected area so that should alert me to the fact that it's probably iron.

    vision/spectra v3 driving me crazy

    Voltage was over 10. When I test a coin on the surface it's fine. I tried different filter settings but didn't help too much.

    vision/spectra v3 driving me crazy

    I have mine at 15 usually in this area but I do notice the one thing you're speaking of....it almost always gives a tone in one direction but not coming back...that is bugging me also as this doesn't usually happen with my other previous detectors....don't know why.

    I got mine a couple of months ago with my v3 and I'm selling them on Ebay because I'd rather use my headphones with the cord. Will any v3 pick up the signal or do they have to be sent to Whites? Thanks.

    audio before visual

    Most detectors I've owned with the screen, reacted first to audio first then video so I think that's common. Yes I sometimes hear that buzz before it reacts to a target.

    Coinshooting / high trash deep coil

    That's kinda strange that you get a lot of flat lines. I'm no expert but I notice on mine if I click the pinpoint switch again then flip it to analize and sweep it gives me the bell curve.
