    Sunray DX-1

I finally bought a sunray dx-1 pinpointer after hearing a lot of good recommendations but will be selling it soon....just didn't like it at all, compared with my vibraprobe which in my opinion is the best pinpointer by far. It comes with a holster, turns on quickly by holding it upward (faster...

Love the v3 but can't seem to find out how to change the coin program to vco when pinpointing?

Thanks ....I can't seem to understand how to change some things even after looking at the manual. I used to have the dfx...it seems harder with the v3 to get into the right menus etc....just a mental block perhaps!

    Mass trip with Vision

Ok, I had taken a trip to Rockport, Ma and there's a really large tree and thought it was that one. I used to live in springfield, not too far from northampton but I don't know if I'll have time to go...I live in Ct now. Glad you enjoyed your trip....where do you call home?

Just got my new v3....wow, what a machine!

Haven't had time to use it outside yet. I also got the dx probe and that also is impressive. I love the sound of the tones the v3 makes and all the options as well, but it's great that you can choose a bunch of preset programs too! One thing....the wireless headphones work great but I won't...

    etrac vs v3

I've always loved white's machines and have tried many top of the line detectors in other brands but I always come back to whites. I got rid of my mxt and dfx and got an etrac. They are all fine machines as stated....it all depends on what you want as an individual. The etrac seems to go...

Does this forum have classifieds? I have a couple of coils to sell.

Both used only a couple of times for the explorer or etrac. One is the 16" excelerator and the other the 8" concentric. I have too many coils right now!

    Probe for E-Trac

I have been using the vibra probe for years and really like it. I've heard wonderful reviews for the sunray x-1 probe and wondered if anyone out there has compared the two and if the Sunray is better, why? That may convince me to get one if there are advatages. Thank you! -Dave

Found a merc today by a local river

Today I went to a local river used for swimming many years ago. It's been hit hard over the years and I usually don't find a thing. Used the e-trac with a 16.5" excellerator coil I just purchased and did come up with a merc. I was very pleased. I have ordered the 7 x 4.5 and also the 12 x 15...

Accessory coils for the E-Trac....What is recommended?

As far as larger coils, what is the best recommended? I recently ordered a 16.5 excelerator which I haven't tried yet. Are the s.e.f. coils or double d more desireable to use? Anyone with some experience in this matter? Thanks for any input! -Dave
