    Birthday Hunt

Took a little road trip to several sites down south where the ground was good and wet. SE did a good job but in wet ground all the coins had the high pitch shriek like shallow can slaw. Depth meter was the key. 89 seated, 90, 2-93, 97 injuns and a bunch of rough wheats. Didn't get my birthday...

    The Whole Tribe

Went to a fairground in OH to try the SE and was glad as they've had more rain so the diggin was a little easier. Switched back and forth from SE to XS and really couldn't tell much differance. No silver but the copper was singing loud and clear in the moist ground. Soil there really eats up the...

    SE Loved them pennies

A little bit of rain really made the wheats sing out loud and clear. Also found a front or back of an antique lock at about a foot. Keystone 6 Lever, 15 wheats and 45 merc.

    First Day With The SE

Dug enough nails to build a house. Think it liked the Pro coil better than the SEF. Jury is still out. 10,11 and 41 wheat.

    Diggin is still tough!

I'm gonna need a wrist brace if it we don't get some rain, cant seem to quit diggin. It's startin to be addictive. 02 barber, 88,04,08 injuns and some wheats.

    Two Firsts

Got a clad half and found more silver than wheats. Finally found out what the word "warble" means. Kinda like that SEF coil. 06S barber, 20,2-23,27,43 mercs, 16 and 43 wheats. Thanks Bryce.

    Hard Ground

Was hoping for more rain. Hard diggin. 36 quarter, 06 injun, 11-14-18-20D-35-36 and 44 wheats.

    10X12 SEF

Tried the 10X12 SEF coil today and was pleased. It seems to lock on the coins solid and make the deep rusty nails sound and ID iffy. I think for the hammered parks it's a winner. 16 merc, 04 injun, wheats and toasted token.

    A Few More

Hunted an old church on US40 that unfortunatly had been filled. Got these between the sidewalk and curb. 09-O barber, 2-36 wheaties and silver ring.

    Pro Coil

Went back to Richmond again today and was a little more selective on the targets I dug. Dug half as many nails as yesterday and got a lot more keepers. 98 Barber (toast), 28 and 43d Merc, 97 and 07 Indian, 16,2-20,26,27,56 Wheaties. The 2 Merc's have orange stripes across the backs from the...

    Just a few

Went to a park in Muncie IN to the same area that I dug my first Indian in 1972. It was a 1879 and I was ticked I didn' break the century mark. Really makes me feel old! Just shows you never get it all.

    Old XS still works

Been using the XS with the Pro coil the last couple weeks and have beeen really impressed. Hunted hammered parks and yards I've hunted to death with the F75. Old dogs can learn new tricks!

Will the upper shaft for the SE work on the XS?

    SE & SE Pro

Is the SE and SE Pro the same detector with different coils or is there more features?
