    Just wanted to post

Thanks Todd. I was walking the woods nearby just looking one day to see if there was any old foundations, etc and I did find a out a dozen tombstones from the early 1800s, funny thing is they spell October with a K and not a C.. The last name on the tombstones were Willett although most of them...

    Just wanted to post

Sometimes things are just meant to be I guess, honestly I had no intention of finding anything there,it's a grassy knoll that's on a hill but they mow it anyhow..

    Just wanted to post

It was totally by accident that's for sure. I haven't got the woods yet but someday I will.

    Just wanted to post

I don’t post here a lot, not in this main comparison forum cause I don’t see the relevance of it. We’re all lucky seasoned adults with our own test beds, etc..So I just don’t feel the need to watch or post synthetic test results.. But I wanted to share a real life hunt that lasted me a few weeks...

Is calabash testing the new xp icon ?

What the hell, winters here and we need the humor.. When he starts passing out bad or incorrect info like he has so many times before just call him on it. That's usually when he throws a fit and says hes going back to the YouTube channel where the comments are turned off. On another note...

Is calabash testing the new xp icon ?

You know he left this forum like every other forum because people didn't agree with him? Is finds hurting for members? I've never heard of a forum asking someone to come back? Well,I guess with winter we all need something to keep us amused

Is calabash testing the new xp icon ?

When Calabash started detecting and hit the forums asking questions around 2015 he had a AT Pro ,that was his first unit..Then he got a XP machine and started blasting Garrett by making YouTube videos and XP started funding his YouTube channel, and funding him with machines . I won't debate that...

Is calabash testing the new xp icon ?

I don't think anyone hates Calabash, I just think not many agree with him. In his defense he was left unsupervised with a go pro and a metal detector, well I guess we know the end of the story

    NOX truns on/off on/off ...

Factory resets aren't a bad thing, I usually do that to most of my machines at least once a year, and the 600 is so easy to setup so your settings shouldn't take but a few minutes at best. Glad to hear your machine is back in working order, could be worse

    Manticore over E-trac

I have a 3030 and a Deus 1 , opposite sides of the room as far as where they excell but imo the two best units available to cover everything,,IMO , these are the top of the line as far as park silver and field relic goes..if I had to put one machine in the middle of these two machines that isn’t...

    Manticore over E-trac

I think the 800 was the best machine minelab came out with too as far as newer tek, alot of guys up my way feel the same

    Manticore over E-trac

Nothing better for deep silver than FBS. Manticore ID is way to jumpy and even worse at depth,....I think the manticore is more relic than coin, I had one and didn't see anything from it that would dedicate it a coin machine..I mean, what guys aren't saying about the manticore is they're digging...

(Want to sell) Minelab Manticore new in box

Anyone still using the racer or racer 2?

I like the racer 2,,I didn't like the racer 1... But back 5 years ago I was mostly a coin hunter, and the racer 2 was really accurate...now I'm more like a relic hunter,I don't dig everything but I dig a lot more than just coins . I would buy a racer 2 again if I saw a good deal

Tired of digging can slaw and some other trash with HF2 coil. Looking for gold rings ?

Actually XP took the XY screen from the AKA machines, AkA developed that screen in the 80s,it's actually called a hodagraph. Not fool proof but no more accurate really than a solid ID number.

    Single frequency vs Multi frequency

Personally my finds aren’t any different using a equinox,Legend,or D2 as they are using a etrac, f75 or Anfibio..It really comes down to preference in options imo, use what you like and what’s most comfortable for you. The 600 is a pretty good machine ..
