    silver buff wheats tokens

    Hunted a sidewalk tearout at an old school. Pulled 6 wheats, a personal best, a '35 buff, and a '43 D silver war nickel. Also picked up a MO tax token and a couple other modern tokens. Always heard the tearouts were productive, now I'm a believer. HH!!

    Found another Merc, '42 d, in a park that i rarely hunt, most of the good stuff is pretty deep, 8-12 inches. Also pulled a crusty '17 wheatie, and a little pendant marked 1/10 10kt gf. Hope everyone is having as much fun hunting as i have lately, GL and HH!!!!

    Bullet ID

    Found a couple bullets tonight that I thought were Starr Carbines til I got them home and cleaned them up. They have a small hole in the base, the Starr doesn't. They also measure .58 cal at the base and the Starr is supposed to be a .54 cal. Anyone have any idea what I've got here? Any help...
