    what would you rather have, a T2 or F75 ??

    looking at comparisons there are differences , some say the F75 is too sensitive compared with the T2 . is this still the case`? baffling that we have 2 versions and they are not the same

    SEF coil may have stuffed my Silver umax

    it was ok at first but now when i turn on it makes continual bleeping noises . I rang up p e n t e c h nic the UK repairers company and they say it has to be re calibrated for a SEF coil ,you cant just swap coils over willy nilly ,so its going back for repair and recal for the SEF coil only .

    looking at the G2 with its real time ground analysis read out ,got me thinking that a probe that gives a ground minerals analysis ,could it be a help ??

    i am not knocking this very good machine ,but i have had mine over 10years and surely there must be some newer chips around that could boost its recovery performance in many ways .unless its been updated in the circuitry somewhere

    doing ground tests with your unit

    i buried a beer can 24 inches down to do tests , my tesoro with SEF coil was poor on the test of my 4 machines . it was very slow in giving a signal ,about 3 inches past the spot whereas my other machines were spot on target. that means i would be digging in the wrong spot and then give up as...

    willl your tector find a hoard at 2 feet ??

    on the deepers site he suggests burying a beer can at 2 foot and then try to locate it . on garysdetecting site he has buried a hoard at 2 feet and he says no machine will find it . hoard of bronze and silver coins . whats your results on this test ??

    sef coil

    the depth on in air testing is as follows . 12x10 coil . on a 925 silver half crown i get an extra 2 inches depth. but when i use a 6x3inch sheet of sliver i get an extra 6 inches . sheet is about .5mm thick. no in ground tests done yet ,but will soon when the weather dries up a bit.using...

    anyone tried one of these yet ? linux operating system too ,thats got to be a first .just wondering what frequency they use and if the 3D imaging is up to much use . kellyco have them but only a few seen on youtube yet .in foreign languages so far .but have they found any deep large finds ?

    Low batterys = worse performance ??

    how low do you let your batteries go down before replacing them and what is the safe threshold ?before poor performance cuts in ? i check mine with a V meter to be sure

    i am in the UK and the dealers say that they are now available for all the range ,4 pin and 5 pins .just becoming available
