    Well, I'm back from the OBX beach week.... Theres many words I could use on how it went..

    but lets keep this PG... First, the trip ( not detecting ) was great. Weather got better as the week progressed. Sunshine and low 80 "s wed, thurs, fri. Now the detecting. If theres a word thats 5 levels below F'N horrible I'll go with that !! Conditions were great, ie. low tide areas...

    who's had real world experience with with the whites vx3 detector... ?

    I remember it was like the kid brother to the spectra v3 but without some of the bells and whistles. Thats ok by me, just wondering what the overall operation of the unit was or was the v3 the superior detector. Mark ( ohio )

    its a beast when you fully understand how to operate it.. it took me a hot minute to try many different set-ups but when I did finally get it tuned in, nothing and no one out hunted me.

    I've never checked into this personally but wondering ... is there any updates I should be aware of for the nox 600 ? I think I have a later produced model that supposedly took care of the leaking issue ( tho I haven't tested this theory ) so I dont know what version I may be running... Anyone...

    Best coil for the Quqttro

    Very nice, a fellow ohioan.... well, if your going with the minelab 8 inch coil ( which is not a true 8 inch I'm sure), my recommendation for the nel sharpshooter stands. I believe you'll be happier with the performance of that coil. Anyway good luck and HH Hunting.
