    Stability on either one is just one retune button push away. If they are too unstable for you you can adjust them to be less so. I just keep mine on max sensitivity and retune if they are unstable out of the holster. I would say the depth is similar unless the MI6 is connected to the detector...

    (Want to buy) WTB: couple of Fisher coils

    First Texas sells them on eBay. It includes a "make offer" which, in my experience buying a Teknetics Patriot and the larger concentric elliptical coil for the F75 from them, is substantially less than the "buy it now" price. If they don't accept your offer, nothing is lost in trying.

    I don't know about others but if I get a deep signal with no VID that stays in one spot, I get curious enough to dig it unless it is in a well kept lawn or someplace similar.

    Time to get the lead out

    I would suggest purchasing "A Handbook of Civil War Bullets and Cartridges" by James L. Thomas and Dean S. Thomas, some accurate scales and calipers and then compare what's in the book to what you have. Opinions from looking at pictures can be misleading as can patinas.

    How long have your Tesoro's lasted without needing service

    I have the older Bandido 2, not the micromax, an original Stingray, and one of the first Conquistadors and have no idea how old they are but they all still work just fine.

    I have a 4 inch coil for the F44, not the F2 one, that works really well on the Patriot. The FeO2 scale doesn't work but it ground balances well, the numbers are correct and it can pick up a small nugget I got with an MD20 detector a greater distance than my nox, legend, and even deus HF...

    If you have one of these $100 F75s or any of the other top range detectors, I would gladly pay that plus a 50% profit for it. It seems that cost and desirability may be quite different.

    Whatever you want to make an iron tone sound on and below. Zero doesn't allow an iron tone. Fourty gives an iron tone on most small iron.
