    IMO, it enhances the sounds of small bits of metal when dirt fishing. I only used it for a few hours on privates and woods. It’s stable I guess over coins.     I had a Freedom three and it used 9 volt batteries. It went deep and Charles Garett said in the video that came with it… You have to dig some junk to get the good stuff…….too funny.
