    Yes, just get one that is 2amp for shorter charge time for the detector and 1amp for the headphones. Wall outlet or car 12 volt powered Dual USB chargers will have both outputs so you can charge both.

    Why no concentric coils for simplex ?

    The Simplex circuitry and software were specifically designed around a DD coil. It's not compatible with a the concentric coil design.

    Hand pain caused by the Equinox’s grip

    Interesting way of holding the handle. Tried it using the custom handle I am making that is fitted to the round tubing pictured above. Gave me an idea for a new handle/shaft design.
