    Hey u2robert, I bought my Deus in 2012 I believe. Been running 3.2 forever. Never saw the need for the other coils. Sure those extra high Freqs. will land you some extra goodies possibly but I could never Justify the Cost of these other coils(h35 or X35 , whatever.) Still have the Original...

    Awesome Vid. on a Nostalgic detector. Love those tones. I own that Exact unit that's Pretty Minty. I also own a collection of the Older Teknetics units. I believe I have 5 of these Older Tek models stored away along with the HARD TO FIND 10 " White coil that's as Rare as hens teeth... Thanks...

    Hey there Neil, My thoughts are if your getting into gold hunting, it would be in your Best interest to get yourself a Dedicated Gold machine. Yes the Troy X5 can find gold items but not as efficient as a dedicated Gold Detector!!! JMHO silverseeker2

    Cut Down

    Hey Ronstar, Over the years I once saw a guy that cut down a Tesoro Sidewinder using the top rod and customized it with a 4 inch coil.It looked to be about 16" long and hooked it on the back of his belt and turned it on when needed. Never hurts to think outside the BOX!!! silverseeker2

    Oldie but a goodie.....

    Bought my Deus roughly 8 years ago and STILL running on Original Batteries!!! Great machine and am still running the 3.2 Version w/9" original coil. Deus surely Produced a WINNER! silverseeker2

    What happened to Tesoro?

    They've DONE DID DIED BIG TIME!!! Good detectors in their day though. Just can't keep Producing Old School detectors and expect to stay in the Game!!! Foreign Detector designers and builders have put the KABOSH on darn near all American Hobby Detector companies. Didn't take Whites long to fold...

    Can't go WRONG with a Fisher CZ. Great coin machines. My Cz3d netted me my Oldest Silver and Best Gold ring I've ever Dug. Not my Go to machine these days though!!! By the way, that Gold ring rang in a High Tone and did what it was Designed to do !!! Wish you the Best! silverseeker2
