    Any Thoughts on using the 4 kHz Frequency

    I found the same thing with nickels being ignored in 4 kHz. Quarters and dimes were OK.

    New Nox 800

    I bought one of the first 800s sold in Feb. 2018. It had the wobbly shaft problem as did many of the first batch. Minelab quickly replaced the shaft, no problem. They were aware of the problem and any Nox you purchase today should not have that problem. The replacement shaft has no issues...

    Take a look at the L.S. Pelsos. Good, speaker type waterproof phones. Look for a piezo type headphone if you're going underwater.

    I have the Plugger CF shaft and use the stock EQX lower shaft with it and it works fine.

    Coil Ears

    Thanks for the tip Donut. I also have the ear stiffeners and the milk jug spacers worked perfectly. They are the perfect thickness. Hit the rubber washers with a little silicone spray and I'm ready for the next outing.
