    Prospect mode or regular when searching for a ring

    I am searching for a ring that was lost 10 years ago and had a question. I have a x-terra 705 and the soil in my area is very mild. Would I have a better chance of finding the ring in prospect mode with the HF coil or regular mode with the HF coil. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. HH

    WTB Minelab X-Terra 705 Used

    I need to find a good deal on a X-Terra 705. I recently bought a 505 on ebay and got burned on it. Also, found a 705 on here and thought the deal was closed but the owner changed his mind overnight. Bad thing is I counted my chickens before they hatched and sold the only detector I had.
