    Chasing A CW Camp

    Went out yesterday for a few hours, ground was like cement and took both the Pro and Elite. Nothing found but cans. Was in pastures around electric fences, both machines do not like electric fences! I tried every setting, sensitivity, frequencies etc. Just something to deal with I guess!

    10 years later, I take my X-terra 705 out of storage.

    The L,M & H buy the serial numbers tell you the frequency of each one. Low, Medium & High. Good luck hunting!

    The Elite multi frequencies Are 2.5khz - 41.5khz. All the modes use a different combination of frequencies. Field 1 uses lower weighted frequencies. Field 2 higher weighted frequencies. So basically field 1 lowest frequency maybe 3khz and field 2 maybe 5khz . On top of that the noise cancelling...

    I got the VX8 Coil the other day and it feels like a brick compared to the Coiltek 5x10. Just had to have it to try. Not falling for the VX 10 as I think the Coiltek will work just as well.

    So, multi IQ on the Nox is 5,10,15,20 and 40kHz Wonder why they don't mention it on the Elite? Smoke & mirrors? The fixed 15 kHz is a lot calmer than the multi IQ that's for sure!

    Been detecting since 1970 and sometimes it is nice to not dance around a target, looking at numbers to decide to dig or not. Get a Deeptech and let your ears, brain and intuition tell you the story of the target.
