    Wilson RC IV.

    Glad the RC works. Has good depth and discrimination,plus the booster switch on bottom. They are a bit heavy but good for short hunts.

    I have over 140 detectors, 99% work,never used a warranty on any of them. Own 2 Deus’s,first one had the 1.2 version on it,came with a 220 charger,had to get a step up and down converter to charge it. Sent the first one to XP for repair, came back like new for under $100 after using it for 4...

    Wilson Detectors

    Hi Rick, on the ATD, there’s a switch on the bottom of box. When squeezed it changes the detector from motion to non- motion modes.non motion disc and all metal. When released returns to motion mode in disc or all metal.

    Hi Rick, on the R&C IV there should be switch on the bottom, pull it towards you to engage the booster for depth, if it’s not there it could be the red button on the face of it. There were no retune buttons on the R&C. The meters on both is just for the batteries.

    Good score on both, the ATD is highly sought after by Wilson collectors. The ATD is the best detector Wilson made, the Relic and Coin IV is no slouch either. The ATD has ground balance, R&C doesn’t. That would have made my year in finds.

    How many still use a vintage classic detector from the 70's-80's?

    Still taking out the Tek S/T,have two, one with modified power supply and the other original, both work well, love the tones. Both have 10” coils on them.
