    Think I would have quit after 25. My Deus 1 was pretty spot-on for detecting modern pull tabls. 30-32 range nickels usually were 28-30. If it bounced under 30 I'd dig it. Old silver may have developed some corrosion depending on moisture. They may not ring up as high as we'd suspect, 90+...

    Yes, mostly1 oz silver rounds. Plus a few silver eagles and other misc 1 oz rounds. I think granpa was collecting silver rounds for years When I found the bucket, the bags we opened up were all Indian head 1 oz rounds. The son wasnt a coin guy and wasnt aware of the Silver eagles higher price...

    Considering they sold for almost 2k when they first came out, that's quite a bargin. Just run the General program to get use to the tones. Then you can start playing with the other programs and options. You might want to get the bigger headphones as the 'over the ear' ones get a bit painfull...
