    took the XL PRO for a swing.

    I went to a old house found clads and junk. I did find a SILVER ROSIE and a dirty 1940 nickel. I will be checking the sidewalk next.:detecting:

    XL PRO Control Knobs fix.

    This is my fix for moving control knobs I use rubber grommets and cut them in half. Put one half grommet on each control knob. Replace the control knobs pushing down tight. AND YOUR MOVING KNOBS ARE NO MORE.:yikes::hot::super:

    Why pay to side mount your in line sunray when you can do this mod. Take apart the clips and this is what you can do.:surprised:

    Did I read the whites site info right. Is the m6 only one freq.14kHz The 3kHz is better for the silver??????????????. :confused:

    Nice to have this forum.:yikes:Let the old detectors swing. My first tip is don't swing to slow with your 5900,6000,XL PRO. Plant a dime at eight inches and use your 950 coil swing slow and then fast.You will find the right speed to swing and pick up the dime.:hot::hot::hot::hot:

    XL PRO

    Would like to see a Whites XL PRO Classroom Forum added. What do you thank? I dig tons of pull tabs to get gold. One thing I found on my XL PRO is the needle lock hard on gold when i X the DD coil ,not always true on tabs. The needle will jump a little to the coin range when hunting deeeep...

    It is cold and the ground is hard as a rock

    I did the cold thing and i can't do it. spring to fall is what i'm good at. I had a reading of 5 inch and i was thinking silver but it was a 1972.25 cent. I am not a winter guy. Good luck to all how hunt year round.

    Sad to say White's electronics is not making the XL PRO anymore. ! was thinking of trading one of my XL PROs but Now I will keep them. The 6000 now called the XL PRO was one of the all time best from White's :cry:
