    Maybe last silver of the season!

    Went back to the field I was working yesterday and pulled this 1918 merc.............might be the last one this year, temps are getting into 20s by end of the week. Hope we get a few warm up days! I am not ready to quit!!!! I included a pic of the field and sunset where I was tonite.

    is the vaquero just as fast or faster than compadre in iron?

    I use my compadre in farm fields where iron is super heavy, and its speed of recovery in intense iron amazes me, but I'd like a little more depth and wonder if maybe the vaquero is what I need for relic hunting, but also affordable.......give me your opinions

    Good day in the bean field, seated, indians, large copper

    Slow sunday field hunt

    Hit a field site and got zero metal keepers. I did however find this arrowhead laying on the surface so that was a bonus. Went back thru town did a door knock on a tiny yard to redeem myself and Got 6 wheats, silver Rosie and a no date buffalo nickel.

    Excellent day! Gold AND silver!

    Good day! Door knocked at a couple old houses. Got a few wheaties, silver quarter,a nice .925 mans ring, and find of the day was an old 18K gold woman's ring. Weighs 2 grams and came in at a solid nickel signal at 4 inches deep.
