    The first spot was a 110 yr old park that has been hammered to death by detectors. Was only able to be there about a hour before I got the "I'm bored" from the wife. But managed to find a stinking Lincoln, And 4 nickels... And a buttload of old pull tabs. 😆 This thing kills it on the nickels...

    I got the chattering to stop. Reset the machine to factory preset. Double checked the settings. Lowered the sensitivity until the chatter stopped then slowly brought it up to just about to chatter 20. Still have a lot to learn as far as the signals. But I did find my first coin. It hammered...

    How do Y'all store your detectors for the winter? Should be receiving my 600 today. But was wondering how you store them for the winter. Leave them plugged in? Remove the battery? Just put them in the corner until spring? Cant wait until the end of the day to pick mine up!!!

    Long-time Garrett user. Deciding to try something new. My normal detector is the Garrett GTI 2500 that I have used for 20 years. Finally pulled the trigger, and I just ordered the Minelab Equinox 600. Should be interesting I've heard good things about this detector
