    Well, I'm back from the OBX beach week.... Theres many words I could use on how it went..

    but lets keep this PG... First, the trip ( not detecting ) was great. Weather got better as the week progressed. Sunshine and low 80 "s wed, thurs, fri. Now the detecting. If theres a word thats 5 levels below F'N horrible I'll go with that !! Conditions were great, ie. low tide areas...

    getting ready for the annual pilgrimage to obx.....

    gonna try labor day weekend-week to see if the luck is any better. Gonna hunt to the best of my ability but not sure if the outcome will be any different from yrs past.. would like to see a fair amount of change in my apron , but not holding my breath. Will let you know how things went in...

    who's had real world experience with with the whites vx3 detector... ?

    I remember it was like the kid brother to the spectra v3 but without some of the bells and whistles. Thats ok by me, just wondering what the overall operation of the unit was or was the v3 the superior detector. Mark ( ohio )

    for sale as a package deal.. a vanquish 440 and a fisher f-44 both in vg++ condition....

    Just don't detect much any more and don't want to make the claim that both are excellent or mint cond because my interpretation may be different from someone else, so there-fore the vg++ designation.     Back from OBX yesterday............ this was the trip from hell !!!

    Got down there last fri evening right in the middle of tropical storm ( whoever..) torrential rain 40-50 mph wind gusting higher at times. and pitch black. Sat surveyed the beach and not a single cut to be see, but loaded with black sand everywhere. Shells out the wazoo thinking some thing...
